Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is known for playing Heidi In Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star 2009) and Sweet Pea from Sucker Punch (2011), Lindy in Limitless (2012), Clara Murphy (RoboCop) (2014) and Sarah on Geostorm(2017). The actress is also a part of the team with Martin McDonagh to produce Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards Beyond Ebbing Missouri. Cornish was awarded her very first Screen Actors Guild Award in the ensemble cast of this movie. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland as well as The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough played the mother in the film. Betty Gilpin chose to act because her parents supported and loved her. Fordham College was her first option when she was ready to go to the college of her dreams. The college was where she refined her talents. After graduation Gilpin began performing in Off-Broadway plays while auditioning for roles in TV and film. The role she got was the lead in NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent 2001-2011, and later small part of Ghost Town (2008), and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin was able to secure a variety of TV guest appearances throughout the following years until she received her first break in 2013, when she was offered the role of Nurse Jackie. Gilpin was Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin in 34 episodes prior to Nurse Jackie's run ended in June of 2015. In the following year, Gilpin made an appearance in the thriller-mystery True Story (2015).
